Dirk Schulte is the R&D Director of Advanced Engineering & Product Platforms for Valeo BRAIN, where he oversees Driving Automation and Interior Experience research and development in North America. Since joining Valeo in 1999, he has held various leadership roles, starting in powertrain and electrical systems, and is currently focused on driver assistance systems, driving automation and cabin interior technologies for comfort and safety. His career includes 10 years in France and 8 years in Brazil, providing him with a deep understanding of global automotive technology and customer needs. Dirk is dedicated to advancing vehicle safety, automated driving, and human-machine interface technologies to make driving safer and more enjoyable. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Aachen (RWTH Aachen) in Germany and is based at the Valeo Technical Center in Troy, Michigan.
